Today we had to say goodbye to Max. He was the last of the "Kittens", and it kind of seems like the end of an era. He had some form of fast-growing cancer. A month ago, he was doing better than he has in years. Over the past two or three weeks, he suddenly really went downhill. We had always promised we wouldn't let Max linger too long, and we didn't. However, it is super sad to not have him around anymore. God gave us 12 wonderful years with him, and we count every moment a blessing. Now he is back with his siblings and Mama, and no more hips hurting.
